A 15-minute consultation is provided in-person or via phone to discuss concerns, share information such as previous evaluations, and gather relevant documents on your child's level of speech and language skills. A consultation is used to determine if an evaluation is needed.
A speech/language evaluation is conducted to measure your child's speech and language skills. Skills can be assessed during play, through parent interview, and using formal tests. Following the evaluation, a comprehensive evaluation report is provided, which includes elligibility for speech language therapy, frequency and duration of therapy, beneficial therapy programs, and classroom modifications.

Speech and language therapy sessions are provided in your home/daycare to maximize carryover of skills. Sessions are 30 to 45 minutes, depending on attention span.
